Now I am an Executive Member at Damascus Chamber of Commerce since 2000 and occupied the following positions:

- Import Committee Chairman
- Chairman of Syrian-Chinese business Council (Syrian side)
- Secretary General of Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce 
- Secretary General of Damascus Chamber of Commerce.

First of all I would like to introduce myself to our website visitors. My name is Bashar Nouri, the General Manager of Nouri Group. I used to occupy the positions of Secretary General of the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce and Damascus Chamber of Commerce, also Import Committee Chairman and Chairman of the Syrian-Chinese Business Council. Now I am an executive Member at Damascus Chamber of Commerce.

My career in trade started from here, from great ancient Damascus, and when I thought of importing I used to visit foreign Embassies and the Commercial Sections in order to get mailing address of the companies to start correspondence them by postal mail. This work took few weeks to be done. Whereas today, one click you bring the whole world into your hands.

From this significant transformation, I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to our President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad who pushed the Informatics revolution forwards and made Syria entering a new period of Information Technology to walk equally with IT world.
